So I am not doing as well as I had hoped with updating this blog. Camdyn has been keeping us pretty busy so by the time she is in bed, I am usually not too far behind her these days, but I am trying. While a handful she is truly a joy that I am so thankful for. It is so hard to believe that in just less than 3 months we will have another one bringing us even more joy. I can never say enough how blessed we feel.
Camdyn is growing fast and becoming such an independent little person. She is quite the helper around the house and even when we are out and about. She loves walking places and still enjoys being outside. While I know she still loves me, I am definitely seeing her turn into a daddy's girl. It is actually quite precious and I know that Ben just eats it up. She will call for him a lot now and when she wants to be held it is usually from him (which has actually been a huge help as my belly continues to enlarge ha). I used to be able to put her to bed alone if needed but no she has to make sure that if I am there daddy (or as she calls him da-da) is there too. I think she is also just taking after him a lot physically as well. I will look at her at times and it is like I am looking right at a min-Ben. Camdyn's vocabulary has also really grown-it seems like there is so much she can say now and has picked up pretty quickly on repeating words that you try and teach her. It is so awesome to just watch her learn something EVERY day.
Tomorrow is our 3rd wedding anniversary. Lots has happened in that three years and I have loved every minute of it all with him :) As part of our celebration this year, we decided to get away for the weekend for our anniversary and also a little getaway before Baby Boy arrives. My parents watched Camdyn for us and we headed up to Amelia Island. While short it was a well needed getaway....and then we both took the day off from work today to try and get some stuff done (as most people know is a non-ending battle). We feel like we have so much to do right now, our weekends are booked through early May and then soon enough our boy will be here so time is running out so it seems. We know what we are doing with the nursery but haven't even started that yet and we still need to order furniture and just get him some stuff that he is going to need. Ahh- I don't even want to think about right now :)
So I am trying to work on the photography business as well on the side and have some stuff coming up lined up to hopefully help build up my portfolio some.
