Some day we will get better at updating the blog like it used to be, I promise...just not sure when that day is going to be :) We Riveras like to keep ourselves quite busy it would seem.
Ben continues to be slammed at work. It is really crazy, but we take it to be a great thing for job security. He is actually on his way back from a week long trip to PA for work. Talk about cold! He is doing a really great job though and while the hours have been "hard" at times, he has done an amazing job and we are very proud of him.
I officially went back to work on January 5th. Hard to believe it has already been a month back at the office. When I went to work for two days in December I had a meeting about a job opportunity for me when I returned. Ben and I spoke about it and decided it was an amazing opportunity so I took it. It is a 6 month assignment at our Corporate office in Melbourne. It will be in a group under one of the VPs and will be such a learning experience. My first week was today and so far it has been an adventure. One of the great things is that it is an expansion of some of the work I was doing. It is a much welcomed change, while very nerve wrecking and slightly scary. I am looking forward to what it will do for me. My first trip for the new job will be in about a week up to Rochester. The only bad thing about it is going to be leaving Camdyn for that long. Work is the longest I have ever been away from her, but I know that Ben will take great care of her while I am gone :) In my other work news, I finally finished taking the exams for my professional certification and passed! I am now just working getting in all of my paperwork for it. It feels so good to finally have that behind us.
Camdyn is doing well! She is getting bigger and bigger every day. She is just so adorable and is doing a lot of smiling and laughing now. She is also starting to grab her toys and objects for play...her new favorite thing to play with is her feet. She loves to bend and grab them whether she is in her Bumbo chair or you are changing her diaper...she can even bring them up to her mouth! She goes back to the Pediatrician at the end of the month for her 4 month shots. We are very anxious to see how much she weighs and how tall she is. We continue to find ourselves in clothing issues because of her size. Her length is still fitting 6 month pants but some of them become too big in the waist for her but 3 months are usually too short and pushing tightness :)
Oh I almost forgot! We started a You Tube account so we can post videos of Camdyn for viewing. I think you can look up our name and find our videos: Benrielle and I know you can subscribe to it as well. However, I will post the links as well for the two we have up.

We are working on trying to take some more and will add them as soon as we have them so keep checking there as well :)
Next week we get to visit with some friends visiting. We have Matt and Tricia coming in from Texas on Wednesday for the night and then on Friday, Sara and Anthony will be flying in from Chicago! We are looking forward to seeing everyone and we know Camdyn is especially excited to meet them :)
We hope that this finds everyone well. Definitely will have an update after the 4 month appointment but will try and do another post sooner.
